ProjectJav looks similar to a lot of the free streaming JAV tubes I’ve reviewed here at ThePornDude, so I’ll start this review by pointing out the premise: this is a massive, throbbing, full-length JAV torrent site. If you’re looking for some instant thrills and something to jack off to right now while the boss is out of the office, head back to my full list of Asian Porn Sites. If you’ve got a little more time on your hands and you’re willing to wait, this joint might be a good option to fill up that external hard drive with creampied schoolgirls, cuckolding housewives and digital mosaic gangbangs.

ProjectJAV.com has been serving up torrent files and magnet links for a couple of years now, and they’ve built up quite a following. More than 16,000 daily visitors are coming by to check out the offerings, and a big-ass chunk of them are downloading and keeping those torrents healthy. I feel like torrent sites don’t get the love they did a decade ago, but these guys clearly ain’t hurting for traffic. Let’s lube up and see what the magic is.

Sharing JAV Flicks with Your Peers

If you’ve read this far, I’m going to assume most of you are already familiar with torrents. If not, I wrote up a little summary you can read at the top of my XXX and Porn Torrent Sites list that you can dig into, but I’ll sum it up here. The long and short of it is that Project JAV doesn’t actually host any of these movies. This is peer-to-peer sharing, so you’re actually going to be downloading from and sharing with your fellow JAV enthusiasts online.

You will need a separate app to download these movies. There are a bunch of BitTorrent clients out there that will work, though uTorrent is my current choice. They all do the same thing, but I like this one because it’s got a nice feature set and doesn’t blow up your computer with spam. I wrote up a full review of the software if you’re looking for an in-depth look, but I bet most of you are going to skip to the Asian porn downloading.

And goddamn, is there a lot of Asian porn to download! As of this writing, ProjectJAV.com lists over 53,000 X-rated Japanese Adult Videos. This number does come with a bit of a caveat. As you dig further back into the site’s catalog, you’ll find more and more movies listed without any torrent links. They really drop off around page 1400 out of 2218; that’s a fair chunk of movies without links, but it’s also a shit-ton of readily available JAV.

On any torrent site, it’s normal for older, unpopular torrents to go dead. That’s just the nature of peer-to-peer sharing; if nobody out there is sharing the file (seeding), there’s nothing for your BitTorrent client to connect to. I think Project JAV may list movies that have yet to be torrented, because as we’ll see, this is a very refined and exhaustive catalog of JAV films.

The Work of Master JAV Librarians

ThePirateBay is still around after all these years, and I really wonder how those last-gen torrent sites can survive when catalogs like Project JAV exist. The older torrent sites always had and still have those stale, text-based torrent listings. That shit may be fine when you’re just trying to pirate a new Disney flick or the latest version of fucking Minecraft, but it’s a lot less helpful with porn. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but whoever came up with that wasn’t a porno fan.

ProjectJAV’s got a nice, clean and efficient presentation. The front page feels like a cross between a typical JAV tube, a blog and those boring torrent sites I mentioned. You’ll see thumbnailed covers from all the ripped JAV DVDs, actress and genre tags, plus that vital torrent info like the file size as well as the numbers of seeders and leechers. There’s also a Screenshot button that gives you an instant time-stamped grid of screengrabs from the flick. You can peruse the whole library and download a ton of porn without even dipping into the full listings.

Clicking through to the full listing gives you all the same info, plus everything else you’d need to know, like the publisher and editor rating. Some of the more popular movies have so many torrents available in multiple sizes that the only way to see them all is in the full listing. You’ll also find some quick links to other movies with the same JAV idols and pornstars.

I’ve got to say, the organization of the stash is absolutely fucking fantastic. Everything’s indexed in a way that makes it easy as fuck to find what you’re looking for and then to find related content via the actresses, the publisher and genre tags. Seriously, it makes all the older torrent sites look like steaming piles of useless shit.

The actresses' index is fucking great, too, with nearly 9,000 AV idols, pornstars and Japanese models listed. ProjectJAV.com has done a lot of extra homework, filling out the gallery with headshots and including a bio whenever possible. You’ll find their stats and measurements, and of course, links to all of their content on ProjectJAV. It looks like the beautiful Yui Hatano is in 540 movies available via torrent, so get downloading!

As you probably already know, I review tons of adult websites every day. Often, I get a real “cash grab” vibe, where some webmaster has bought some scripts and set up a free tube, cutting corners at every step of the way. They don’t care about the material, but they do want the ad money. ProjectJAV.com comes off like it was built by people who truly love the JAV genre, and you can see that in all the care they put into these listings.

Ten Thousand Uncensored JAV Pornos

As soon as I hit the Project JAV front page, I could see that they’ve got a nice, broad selection of Asian porn subgenres. On page one alone, I see voyeur porn and squirting, big-titty masturbation and married woman creampies. There are schoolgirls getting hammered, a PVC-bound BDSM slut with a gun, a cum-drenched bukkake film, and a Taiwanese group sex movie to give it that pan-Asian vibe.

In case you’re wondering, yeah, most of it is censored because the collection largely consists of DVD rips of movies officially released in Japan. You know how it goes. That said, they do list over 10,000 movies in their Uncensored category. You can skip straight to them via the Popular Categories dropdown menu on the front page.

That same menu also gives quick access to a handful of niches like VR, Leaked, Gangbang, Deep Fake and Orgy. One of my only real complaints about ProjectJAV is that this small list is the only place to browse categories. The videos themselves are tagged well, but there’s no master list anywhere. It’s definitely not a dealbreaker since most masturbators already have an idea what they’re looking for, but as a jaded pervert, I always like seeking out the little unexpected porn surprises that sometimes lay hidden in JAV sites.

Besides that, the only things there are to complain about are just the typical downsides of getting your fap fodder via torrents. For one thing, your ISP may throttle your bandwidth if they notice you downloading torrents, which is why I use a VPN. (Check out my reviews if you don’t know about those yet!) There’s also that obnoxious wait time between choosing your JAV and actually jacking off to it. None of these issues are specific to Project JAV.

ProjectJAV.com is an easy recommendation for anybody looking to download some full-length JAV. They’ve got over 53,000 Asian pornos listed in a ton of categories, and the whole thing is put together really well for maximum convenience. I hope you’ve got plenty of room on your hard drive.
