Night of Revenge is a side-scrolling hentai-packed Metroidvania by D-LIS. Or, well, those of you who suck at video games might be able to blow a load to this game more quickly since it’s one of those titles where the monsters rape the fuck out of your character when you get stunned or lose.

The game in question is called Night of Revenge. It’s an older hentai game, but that doesn’t mean it’s terrible by any means. I swear the mid-2010s was the fucking golden age for high-quality hentai games. After that, the market got so fucking flooded with knock-offs and shitty remakes. Anyway, this game launched in 2015 and was developed by a very talented Japanese dude called D-LIS. It’s a game inspired by tough titles like Dark Souls with some Metroidvania elements tossed in for good measure.

And, well, the game isn’t being updated anymore as far as I can tell. This shit wrapped up nearly 6 years ago at this point. So, I’d only throw this guy some dosh if you really dig the game.

But let’s get into what this lewd game is all about. First off, you’re going to be a bit confused at points unless you just so happen to be a weeb who is fluent in Japanese. The game tries its best to translate menus and stuff for you, but its best isn’t that good. But you should be able to get the gist of what’s going on, if you’ve played video games like this before. It’s just the story is going to get pretty lost. I barely even knew what this game was about until I looked up a synopsis of the story.

Hunt Demons, Free Sex Slaves, and Try Not to Get Raped

It’s pretty simple. You play as a busty monster hunter named Aradia who is on a quest to save a bunch of captured sluts from the clutches of horny monsters. Simple enough, right? You have a home base full of NPCs you can chat with, not that I understood any of it. And, yes, I checked for an English option in the menu. The game simply doesn’t have one. That also makes figuring out movement and items use a bit of a pain in the ass. Using a controller makes it much easier. I highly recommend plugging in an Xbox or Playstation controller to get the most out of this game. It’s more awkward than one of you fucks trying to ask out a dime piece when you use a keyboard.

The closest comparison I can make for this title is that it’s a lot like Salt & Sanctuary. It’s got a vaguely similar combat system, and they’re both side-scrolling games. You run around picking up some sort of soul dust while you fight monsters, save bitches, and take down bosses. It’s actually pretty fucking fun. The levels are intricate and full of challenging encounters. There are plenty of secrets to find. And I was surprised at how fluid the movement felt. Games like Night of Revenge can sometimes suffer from a janky movement system that fucking ruins it. I’m so glad that wasn’t the case this time around.

Fluid Movement and a Solid Combat System

Oh, and the soundtrack is a fucking jam. This is one of those few titles that I feel could standalone as a dope game even if they took all of the fap-worthy hentai scenes out of it. I’d still play the base game and have a good time. You get quite a few hours of gameplay, and you have different paths for upgrading your character’s stats and abilities. So, each playthrough has the potential to be a completely different experience from the last.

Though I know, you weebs are sitting there creaming your pants, just waiting for me to give you all of the lewd details about this game’s sex scenes. Well, you fucks will have a lot of fap material on your hands before you even start a new game. Night of Revenge lets you jerk your dick to all of the animations, illustrations, and fully-animated CGIs right from the menu. There’s even a “punishment room” where you can spawn enemies to come and fuck the ever-living shit out of Aradia.

There are a couple of ways to get fap material during the game. If an enemy stuns you, then you can lay prone until they come over and fuck you. These game over screens are fully-animated, uncensored, and full of kinky moans and audio. You’ll be able to sit back and jerk off to Aradia getting raped in all sorts of different and humiliating ways.

This is a damn good game. Okay, I know that’s not very specific. Everything has come together to make this a solid experience at every turn. The combat is fun as fuck, the movement isn’t wonky and the character design is top-notch. You can customize your build and find cool new items. The levels are well-designed and even the soundtrack kicks ass. If you’re looking for a polished, completed game that is actually fun and challenging to play, then you should be queuing up the download as you read this.

And to make shit even better, the hentai content is so fucking good. You get pixel-style animations of your proud warrior bitch getting dicked down by all manner of tentacles, dicks, and vines. But then you can unlock some of the best CGIs that I have seen. Holy shit. They’re uncensored, fully animated, and pack with steamy moans. You poor sex-starved weebs will be chafing your micro-dicks with how much content is packed into this game.

My only gripe about this game is that the translation work is, well, pretty nonexistent. It might be worth looking around for a fan-made English translation for the game because a lot of important details get lost when you play the original. I had to look up guides for what certain stats were, who the different characters were, and what the plot of the game was. But I get it. It’s a niche Japanese porn game. There aren’t going to be too many translators signing up to do this sort of thing for free. Other than that issue, the game is great. You can still have a damn good time with it even if you don’t look up any translations. After all, seeing some slut get all of her holes creamed in by a tentacle beast is something that transcends language.
